Excellent Experience at the Thermal Spa!
We visited on a Saturday and purchased the skip-the-line tickets for the spa, which also included access to the thermal beer spa. The staff were incredibly friendly and even gave us a tour when we arrived a few hours early to enjoy the main spa facilities before our beer spa session.
The large locker/changing rooms were a huge plus, providing ample space to secure our belongings. Although the large outdoor pool was undergoing refurbishment, the other pools were clean and we had a fantastic time.
Overall, it was a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it for the great experience. We would definitely recommend it! - 7/07/2025

Lovely experience in beer spa in Lukacs thermal bath. We relaxed, drunk some beers and had nice time together. We decided to share one bath. Our preference was to not have it together with the day in thermal bath and it was great choice. We were lucky to have the last room in the beer spa. So no disturbance for us. - 2/27/2025

Unreal experience highly recommended. Beer from the tap was nice and crispy flavour.
Only thing I would add to it is have a cold bucket of water or a hose for a wee cool down for couple mins. Bath was room was fairly warm not that I'm complaining just thought be an ideal even have a cold beer to help. Again I'd love to go back again some day. - 2/11/2025

Excellent! I pre-booked this beer spa experience to have during our trip to Lucaks Baths for my partner and our daughter. The staff are friendly and professional and allowed us to change the original time slot on the day by an hour so we could enjoy the Thermal Baths first before heading across to the beer spa. We were given the choice of how many tubs we required and we opted for one each, which were in our own private area. Lockers are provided at the beer spa but we used the private changing rooms over at Lucaks and walked across in our swimwear wrapped in our towels ( loaned from our hotel) and wearing our own slippers. The beer on tap was cold and plentiful and tasted quite nice. The spring water on tap was warm and could have been a bit cooler for our liking. Some pretzel sticks snacks were provided too which was a nice touch. There are showers at the beer spa which we used before leaving there. We had a 45 minutes
time slot, the staff set a timer and are polite when telling you your time is up, you get ample time to pour another glass of beer and drink it. Thank you! Gabrielle, Chris and Beth - 12/25/2024

My husband and I had an unforgettable experience at the Beer Spa at Szenchenyi Thermal Baths in Budapest! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and provided excellent service. The concept of soaking in a tub filled with natural beer ingredients while sipping unlimited draft beer is both unique and incredibly relaxing. The combination of hops, malt, and thermal water left my skin feeling soft and rejuvenated.
The spa itself is well-maintained, clean, and the ambiance is cozy, creating the perfect environment to unwind. The private tubs were spacious, and having the ability to control the temperature of the water made it even more comfortable.
The option to pour our own beer directly from the tap next to the tub added a fun and interactive element to the experience.
Overall, the Beer Spa is a must-visit in Budapest. Whether you're a beer lover or just looking for a unique spa experience, this place delivers. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city! - 10/13/2024

This was a unique experience for me. It was great to dunk into hoppy, malty brew with thermal water. So relaxing and so refreshing to have a cold beer tap at your disposal... drink as much as you want. You can take your own food and relax in the tub with your friends. An amazing experience not to be missed while in Budapest. The access to thermal pools indoor and outdoor after the spa was an icing on the cake. Please remember to take your towel, flip flops, swim suits and swim caps, otherwise you have to buy it an extra cost. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. - 10/10/2024

The thermal beer spa experience was truly delightful. The service was exceptional, and the unique concept of bathing in beer-infused water was a refreshing change. The water temperature was perfect, and the overall ambiance was conducive to relaxation.
My only suggestion would be to consider adding doors to the spa rooms to better isolate the space from outside noise. A little soft music in the background would also enhance the overall tranquility of the experience.
Despite these minor points, I highly recommend this spa to anyone seeking a truly unique and rejuvenating experience. - 8/01/2024

The beer spa was the highlight of my trip to Budapest. The attendants were friendly and polite; I arrived 15 minutes late but this was no issue for them. Loved the unlimited beer, got through 6 or 7 in the 45 minutes and left feeling suitably merry. Even when the 45 minutes is up they let you sit there for as long as you like to finish your drink (or two in my case...) .
The thermal pool is included so I went for a dip in there afterwards. Don't expect temperatures like Icelandic or Indonesian hot springs but it's warmer than a swimming pool.
The place is inside a little gated area which was a bit confusing at first, though instructions on finding the place are on the confirmation email and pretty helpful. Easily accessible by public transport too. - 6/17/2024

We enjoyed our visit however I must say we paid £70 each which included use of the main baths however they started to let people from the public come and walk by and see us in the bath. Firstly we are not an advertising poster and secondly and most importantly it is a private bath experience I am a female and no I don’t really want people gawping at me in the bath. Despite this we had a nice experience as a couple for a birthday. We would have liked staff to stop chatting and provide a bit more hospitality like asking about bath temperature maybe 15 mins into the experience in case we wanted it hotter. Overall definitely recommend I just would change these two things to improve the customers experience - 6/15/2024

I booked this as part of the city break I organised for my partner's birthday. This was one of her favourite things that we did! She found it unique and incredibly relaxing. She loved the concept of drinking unlimited beer during our time in the thermal bath.
The beer was really good and they even gave us snacks as well! One of the negative comments I have is that it was very expensive, so I expected us to be given more time than just 45 minutes. Should at least be an hour, I think! Also, we didn't like that fact there was no door to our room, so unfortunately, many random people kept walking in and being nosey. We found this to be a bit disruptive, to be honest.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience and would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and drink good beer! - 5/24/2024

Amazing experience!
Probably the best thing I did in Budapest!
I did the ice bath and beer spa combo. The ice bath was refreshing and a challenge but the staff coaches be through it and I was glad I did it.
The beer bag itself was so nice and refreshing and just what you need after an ice bath. The beer was nice too.
The whole experience was 5 star 🌟

One of the bucket items of our trip to Europe and it didn’t disappoint. Had heard of the Beer Spa and when we arrived at Széchenyi Thermal Bath this morning there was a closed sign on the Beer Spa, noooooo! But as we worked our way back it had opened, yessss. We booked the tub for two, kicked back and enjoyed a very relaxing hour drinking from our very own beer tap while luxurating in the hops, malt and salts spa. Can truthfully say we both felt great at the end and would highly recommend if you visit Széchenyi Thermal Bath in Budapest - 4/10/2024

There are only two private baths cabins that first come first serve otherwise you will be sharing with few others people just be aware about that because l thought l had it booked private and once l got there they told me that l can't choose that option... Very unique experience!!!
We relaxed inside old wooden barrel bathtubs, which were full of hot water with added beer materials(malt, yeast, and hops)
Next to us we had a draft beer tab and we could serve ourselves with unlimited fresh Hungarian draft beer !!!
The staff was more than helpful,and they did their best for us!!
If you visit the Szechenyi Baths, you defenetly must try this unique experience!!!!!! - 12/31/2023

Truly a worthwhile experience for anyone who enjoys beer and hot baths,The tubs are nice and big so there's plenty of room. (Speaking as a 2m tall overweight guy)
And the service is fantastic, they are very fun and talkative, and will help you every step of the way. they are kind and very willing to help.
After we were done with our visit a the beer spa and left,
I realized I forgot my wallet somewhere in budapest
I went back and checked at beer spa, and after helping me search at their place, one of the staff helped me by calling the places I've been prior our visit to help me find it.
Absolutely exceptional service 👏

Well I don't recommend going here in the summer. It's boiling out and boiling in the water. Having said that it's a really cool place. The history seeps through and the pools much nice in the winter. There are also snacks and beers you can get by the pool. There is a slightly less warm pool in the back that also has a little whirlpool section that is fun to get in as the force of the water whirls you around in a circle. Over I'd recommend it but more so for the winter. - 7/20/2023
